I tried to find a 6 volt bulb for the taillight but I had to get a 7 volt bulb. Would that make a difference in moped not running properly? Charles Goman _________________ Charles Goman |

It should run without a bulb at all. I noticed your last post mentioned no spark, I'd un-wire everything and only wire the ignition bypassing the on/off switch, horn, lights, etc. You'll want to have your stator cover off to drag it down with your shoe or cover the carb to choke it out, since the switch won't work. Of course I'd just get a CDI or at least a 12v lighting coil, because 6v lights don't cut it. Here's the wiring diagram I use, I keep a color copy taped inside the lid of my tool box. http://www.mopedarmy.com/forums/read.php?1,3062063,3062229 |
