Hello i have a 2006 MT50QT 4 stroke 49.49cc moped/scooter.
It has 12'' Rims the engine block is stamped with a "MT139QMB"
The moped/scooter is built by Shanghai Meitian Motorcycle Co. in china.
today the kick starter seized up. I had flooded the engine earlier that day so i was trying to kick it over for like 10 minutes trying to get it started. Must have worn something out side the kick start case. so this site has a whole replacement kit for the kick start.
Heres the description - Hot swap assembled belt cover
"How cool is this? Completely assembled belt cover with all the kick start components already installed for you. Great for shops wanting to save labor time, or the backyard mechanic wanting to save aggravation. Includes lever, shaft, idler gear, springs, etc. Cost of this assembly is less than the sum of all the parts in total! $74.95 Comes in long and short case.
choose your length"
there are 2 options for the Hot swap assembled belt cover i am looking to purchase. One is "Short Case" , and the other is "Long Case"
could any one tell me which one i need, i can provide pictures of my moped/scooter if necessary.

You have a SCOOTER not a moped by definition, so moving it to the appropriate place. _________________ John

10 inch rear wheel= short case
12 inch rear wheel= long case
If nothing in cover is broken there is no reason to replace anything. _________________ Bryan

ok thank you, a small piece of the actual cover broke (i think it was a piece that the kick starter spring rest against)
Do you know if a gy6 150 long case will bolt up to my scooter? _________________ ya dude ya!!! |
