1973 Peugeot Angel AP-48 Moped point set needed

Postby oldgoatbill » Thu Sep 04, 2008 3:20 pm

I just got this moped and it runs good but I would like to get a service manual and have an extra set of points for it.
I also need a champion L89 plug or the NGK B-4H.
I bought an Autolite 425 plug that an auto parts store crossed from the NGK number and I am using that plug for now.
The moped was made by T.Y.M. Industries in Taiwan
One last question: Does a moped have to have directional lights?
This one has the switch but no signal lights, that is an option on this bike.
Thanks.
Bill

From what info I have gathered you need no Turn signal lights as long as you hand signal.

Nice moped I like the coca-cola painted on it.

Thanks Bobby,
Yes the Coca-Cola sticker was on it when I bought it.
Now if I can only get the points and other small things for it I will be all set.
Thanks again for the info.

You're welcome. Sorry I don't know anything about the manual and to be completely honest I don't even know what you're talking about when you say "points" I'm still very new to this and I have never really had to much experience with motors and such other then the basics like changing oil and spark plugs.

looks kind of like a 102....might use the same parts. also i have had luck using the atom in the peugeot engines. its a little trigger that replaces the points.
