Hello,

I am new to this forum. I planning to buy a tomos velo 150cc. Is this a good scooter for the price? Any other brands that are similar or better than Tomos price range of $2000 - $2200.00? I am looking for a scooter that can carry a passenger or a 2 seater. I like the Honda scooters by they are pricey for me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Good choice. It's made for Tomos by Flyscooters, who sells is as the Il Bello 150.

Also check out Kymco, Sym and TGB/Peirspeed for reasonably-priced, good quality competition. You might want to choose based on the proximity and quality of the dealer. That may make the biggest difference in the long run.

Thanks now I am really convince of the Tomos bello and thinking of getting it through flyscooters. I hope they have a dealer around my area. By the way, do you know where these scoots are made from? Per Tomos they are from Slovenia (europe) but did not mention where the engines are made? Thanks again!
