I have been scanning old issues of Popular Mechanics and came across this letter to the editor in the May 1957 edition of Popular Mechanics about H.A.Munro and his 1920 Indian Scout.
A little off topic but not way off..

What did he do for speed? Bikes in that era put out about 3 hp but had large displacements.

Ahh I didnt get the attached before, yea, thats a good speed for the 20's.

supercub if i'm right that is the same man the made the movie "the world's fastest Indian" about someone correct me if i'm wrong. But either way a good movie

Thats a true story about Burt Munro. He later went oner 200mph. !
