Carburetor Leakin

Postby gfox74 » Fri Oct 29, 2010 3:09 pm

I have a 2010 Bravo Soleil Chinese make scooter. I have been having problems with oil leaking from the carburetor and oil flowing into the airbox. It sat for 10 days and when I opened the airbox about a half cup of oil poured out. I have had the float adjusted already. Do I have a defective carburetor or can it be tuned or repaired. It won't start now either. It cranks but won't start.

Is it a 2T, if so you oil injector check valve isn't holding. New bike see the dealer or was it a drop ship special. If that is what it is then you could put a manual valve in to stop the oil flow but you and only you will have to open it when you want to ride. Plug is probably totally fouled with oil now, replace and then try to start.
