hello there people

i have a 2002 yamaha jog r scooter air cooled engine belt driven. iv owned it about 2 month and havnt had a proplem until i started goin out in the snow on it now it starts first time it just wont rev up properly it revs a little bit but it wont spin the back wheel iv cleaned the carb out 3 times an still no luck iv had a quik look at the reeds they look good its the same on compression as before it had a k an n air filter on but iv put original back on since i thought water was getin in carb today im goin 2 have a look at the belt and rollers if that doesnt help its goin in the shop i think

please help me people im stuck with this 1

well iv just had a look at the variator and belt the rollers are in good condition no flat spots and the belts nearly new the variator spins but it is not engaging the clutch could i need a new clutch iv never messed about with a clutch before any help please

disassemble the clutch, get it in the house and attempt to move, may be blocked. if you move a hard, clean it with gasoline or carburetor cleaner, then lubricate with oil moving parts of the clutch and arculetele. after it begins to move easily, wash it well with paint thinner or gasoline no longer be traces of grease on it and then you can mount on the scooter. I had the same problem with the clutch in and I moped, because the moisture was locked, but I managed to unlock it and now goes without any problems.

there is lots of smoke coming out the exhaust when im reving it it just wont move the back wheel its revving up rough and doesnt rev up nice an freely its hard 2 describe

fixed it was air leAK AROUND RUBER INLET :):):)

for air leaks from cracked and old rubber intakes
i use some 'liquid rubber ' for electrical wires , its like the dip for
tool handles.
works great just make sure you clean the part good before
applying the product.
